Our usual camp sites by the Carbon River bridge were taken, so we went downstream a bit. We caught enough wind coming up the river to actually blow down my official BSA tent. My camera battery died while we were doing our ax work, so thanks to Bros Hunt and Beers for the pictures of the hike to Surprise Lake. The surprise was snow again, but we had fun.
