Mt Rainier Sledding

In Feburary, we went up to Paradise on Mt Rainier. Our first activity was sledding. Here are some of the pictures.
A leader takes the lead going down the hill showing the boys how to go straight to the bottom - lead by example. :)

We had fun going to a little hill for sledding. They had two trenches for sledding. Dragging their sled to the top, they would wait their turn and then think of something crazy to do, such as going backwards ....

or on their back...

or try (but fail) to jump the edge of the trench ...

sometimes they would go straight down ...

but often they managed to crash!

Overall it was a fun, easy activity.
